Why it works for big groups
Every child gets the same blank critter, so there's no fighting over the best one, and every finished critter is different. Painting takes up to 30 minutes, which fits neatly into a session.
There's nothing to assemble. The critters arrive ready to paint, with the magnets already inside.
Setting up for a class
A few things make a big group easier:
- Share paint markers between tables, about one set per 3 kids.
- Write each child's name on a piece of masking tape under their critter.
- Leave them to dry on trays while the class moves on.
- Send them home at the end of the day, or the next morning.
- Have a supervising adult at each table.
Ordering for a group
A pack takes up to 99 of each design, in any mix of cat, caterpillar, T-REX, eagle, parrot, bee, axolotl, dolphin and pug. Minimum 6, with free NZ shipping. For anything bigger, or a regular programme, get in touch and we'll work it out with you.
Questions parents ask
- What's the most I can order?
- Up to 99 of each of the nine designs in one pack. For more, or a regular programme, contact us.
- What age is it suitable for?
- Ages 6 and up, with an adult supervising. The critters contain magnets and small parts, so keep them away from younger siblings.
- What should the kids paint with?
- Acrylic paint markers. They grip the smooth plastic and there are no brushes or water pots to manage. Ordinary felt-tips and washable markers smudge and won't stick. Our marker sets have 8 colours, and one set covers about 3 kids.
